James Marsters slated to star in his own television reality show premiering summer of 2009.
A new reality show, tentatively called “James Marsters and a Poodle,” where James is followed from audition to audition carting around a poodle is slated to premiere this summer on Fox. In it, fans will see Marsters attending to his regular daily life with a fluffy adorable poodle puppy in tow.
Andrew Ball, Executive at Fox Studios, said, “We were tired of getting 5,000 letters a day from James Marsters fans who said we needed to give him a show. So we’re giving him a half-hour reality show ‘cuz they’re cheap to make.”
Fans have greeted the news of the pending program with nothing less than enthusiasm. “We love James and everything he does, and that puppy is ADORABLE! It’s like win-win!” Said the president of the Marsters on TV Again fan campaign, Suzanne Foxworth. “We simply can’t wait to meet the little darling at the next convention,” Foxworth added.
“On March 30th and 31st, Lifetime Movie Network will air “The Capture of the Green River Killer”, a miniseries based on the incredible true-story of The Green River Killer (Gary Leon Ridgway). The movie chronicles Ridgway’s 20-year murdering spree and the events that led to Sheriff David Reichert brining him to justice in November of 2001. “The Capture of theGreen River Killer” stars Tom Cavanagh, Amy Davidson, Sharon Lawrence, James Russo, and James Marsters. Be sure to tune in on Sunday, March 30th and Monday, March 31st at 8pm”.

James Marster’s Live site has a advent calendar. It’s pretty awesome (even if I’m not an obsessive Spike fangirl). Each day a new link goes live. So far there’s a high-rez desktop and a new photo that fans report to have never seen before.
It’s like virtual Christmas presents from James. What more could you ask for?
